I've bought cheap Mary Janes before that peeled apart in a month, but the leather on these still looks new after two months of daily wear. The lining doesn't make her feet sweaty even in summer, which was my main worry.

My daughter has wide feet and usually fights me on shoes, but the removable insole made these fit perfectly on the first try. The tan leather has held up great through two months of playground abuse, and no irritation at all thanks to the breathable lining.

The leather upper on these is gorgeous in person and the breathable lining has kept my daughter’s feet dry even after a full day at school. For a kids’ shoe, the fit is true to size and the bow stays put — no fumbling with it every morning.
